Welcome to my collection

(obsession)
Like so many I grew up a fan, player, student of the game. I've hung up the spikes pretty much at this point, having played from t-ball through old man wood bat leagues, coached, helped out in youth baseball, all that fun stuff. When my dad passed away a few years ago I brought his two gloves out of the garage, had the old catchers' mitt restored by an absolute master (and pretty good knuckleballer), and put both in a place of honor on the shelf.
Since then, over the last couple of years, the collection has grown. Gloves pick up so many important and emotional points for me: family, history, craftsmanship, and I game I've always loved.
I want to use this collection to meet other folks who feel the same way I do, maybe sell and trade a few, maybe pontificate a bit on the blog in wildly sentimental way I wouldn't express anywhere else - we'll see. I'd love to connect.

If you have a need for vintage gloves for a specific reason - a movie or commercial shoot, an event, I'm actively looking for rental opportunities. I've had some of my gloves featured in a great national publication, I'd love to do more of this. Please reach out I'd love to discuss ways to work together.
Every time I sell a glove I regret it - but I'm open to offers on any of the gloves in this collection - but I also reserve the right to be completely unreasonable and disconnected from the market on pricing - emotional premium will be a real thing.
