George Reach, black Lefty Grove endorsed late 1930s

Hall of Famer Lefty Grove - a little past his prime at this time but great endorsement. But possibly the most interesting thing about this glove is the "not affiliated with any other corporation" stamp on the heel. I love the industrial history here. AJ Reach, acquired by Spalding, but family member George Reach started his own independent brand in 1937, seems to have produced for about 20 years before selling the brand. Very cool history, unique brand story, hall of fame endorsement. Great stuff.
